Fascinated by the visual effects of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales? All must know, there is hard work of the compositor of visual effects behind the effects of that fascinating film. But, not many people knows, there is the name of the original young compositor from Surabaya in the box office movie. She is Faza Amaly Sulthon.

Do not ask about experience. At a young age, Faza had the opportunity to work directly with production houses that produce box office movies.

Call it Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, Marvel Entertainment, Walt Disney Picture, Paramount Picture, and DreamWorks. The opportunity was achieved when working in Moving Picture Company (MPC). Namely, a prestigious company that one of its field focuses on visual effects film. Right after completing a one-year education at the Vancouver Film School, department of 3D animation and visual effect, in 2014.

Her first project was The Revenant, starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Actor Hugh Grass was finally won the Oscar as the best actor. She was still a junior, so she was doing a job for senior aids.

The Revenant project did not last long. At that time, Faza did not get much work. However, her name successfully entered the list of compositor visual effects on the film. The visual effects compositor is tasked with composing previously scattered scenes in various fragments of visual effects.

After completion of The Revenant project, she was transferred to The Finest Hour project. Faza completed the film's visual effects project within four months. At that time, her position is still junior. However, her name re-emerged in the credit film.

Faza's career grew brighter when it was filmed in the X-Men movie: Apocalypse. The movie project on super-mutants is the most effective experience for Faza. Because, she followed the process from start until the end. Supervisor's trust towards her also higher, she's getting more jobs.

It is not the work of the X-Men most favored by Faza. The woman who had a one-year education at Sheridan College majoring in art fundamentals was most content with her work at the Pirates of the Caribbean 5.

Being a compositor is not an easy thing. After all the filming is done, they finish the final part. Her job makes the movie look smooth. Also make animations and visual effects look like real. They also have to tidy up the small details to make it look logical. For example, differentiate the bright part because of light and dark parts because it is not exposed to light. The compositor must calculate from where the direction of light and which part should be light or dark. Thus, when the movie is shown, it is like a reality.
