Pilu tragedy Arakundo, Whips for Justice Indonesia

Banda Aceh - Tragedy Arakundo is a melancholy story of East Aceh society that became a whip for justice in Indonesia. Because the incident that left at least seven victims who drowned in  the river Arakundo, Idi and dozens of missing people has not yet been  revealed.

Melancholy tragedy that occurred on February 3, 1999. Starting  from organizing lectures, which allegedly is a propaganda struggle  which was held on February 2, 1999 in the field Simpang Kuala, Idi Cut,  East Aceh. Thousands of East Aceh exploded to the location of the propaganda.

The event was completed on February 3, early in the morning approximately at 0:35 pm. Finished preaching residents returned to their homes using either a vehicle or on foot.

Some residents were home through an army base stopped. In fact, according to the recognition of their citizens was brutally shot from the direction of the army headquarters. At least 58 victims of the shooting raises either died or not.

The  next day, the residents look for victims who plunged into the river  bottom using traditional tools, because the victims were found were  found in the river just 7 people. While there are many other bodies might not be raised from the riverbed.
