In the era of the seventies a survey team from America found several gas fields with great potential in North Aceh, Aceh, Indonesia, shortly afterwards a Gas company based in New York, United States namely Mobil Oil International Inc. began exploring our natural potential

In collaboration with the Indonesian government, the company relocated local residents to other locations with irrevocable compensation

Furthermore, the company began constructing and starting drilling, the results of which were crude oil and raw gas which were later disbursed by the refinery through installation of giant pipes installed from several clusters upstream and ending in this plant
