Hi 

My name is Tom aka 8Finious and a new member on Steemit since july and TODAY also on Dtube.

I will try to explain this in the best english since my native language is Dutch.

Born the first of 1988 (no it's not a joke ) in Gent a town in Belgium.

Growing up with my mother and grandmother for the first 5 years of my existence.

My mother started to date this guy that changed our lives completely.

He looked so charming but it was all one big mistake!

Growing up with that guy was a living hell, i saw so many times how he used violence against my dear mother. Many times when she tried to protect me he got so angry that when i was alone with him, he turned his violence to me without the knowing of my mother.

It took 13 long years till he went to jail and i finally started to speak openly about what he did to me to my mother. They had many breakups but my mom was to kind and had forgiven him so many times.

From the age of 6 till the age of 15 

This is a very short version of all the pain we went trough cause it would take a massive amount of pages to write here! :)

So i experienced lots of sadness, frustrations, pain, misery, feeling powerless and weak......

These inner pains resulted in a rebel behavior, i could not stand any form of authority and i never will. Nobody should be beaten or manipulated this way!!

I tried to graduate but i started to work at the age of 15, part time school and work combined.

That guy talked me into that! -.-'

But hey i'm so grateful now, took me 10 more years to get to point were i'm at now!

To make my story a little shorter, at the age of 15 i saw my real father for the first time and i told him what happened in my past with that guy.

My father had a restaurant at the coastline and i worked their for 2 months in the kitchen without any experience.

We went out together, laughed, cried and had fun together but sometimes he was a pain the ass.

I would say where he had been when i needed him, and that made him cry which was never my intention.

So 2 years later my father moved to Spain and the tension with that guy became unbearable and i asked my father for help. So i decided to leave my mom behind with so much pain in the heart but i had to with the hope she would leave that person.

I was 17 so i could not risk being spotted on the airport since i need permission from adults, that's why my father had arranged to take a train to Brussels and a TGV ( Very fast train ) to Paris, where he would pick me up. Yes, he drove whole night (18 hours) with the car to get to Paris!

So i lived in Spain for 3 months when i got the news from my mom that she had left the guy!

YES! Finally!

So i went back to Belgium to support her cause she was pregnant from my little brother.

I turned 18 so i had to start making a career so i started back working. I worked as a call agent in Spain for my dad but that was just for 3 months.

Back in Belgium with my beloved mom, i lived with her for a short amount of time when a friend called me and told me he lived alone and asked me if i wanted to share the same roof.

For me it was something new and exciting so i said yes, but i also had to find a job.

Did so many jobs to find something that suits me but everywhere was the same boring 9-5 mentality.

I felt more like a zombie dragging my rotten body to the next phase in order to survive. 

So i started to find new ways, new possibilities for a brighter future! That's how i got into MLM ( Multi Level Marketing ), sounded so great to be independent and financial free.

So around the age of 19 another friend introduced me into sales at events which was a total other way of earning. So it got me inspired to keep chasing motives and quotes from successful people.

Back then it was more based on finding more money which is not the key to happiness!

A guy who also worked for the same company as me introduced me into Fl Studio and he told me that you could make music with your computer and i was sold at first sight.

I got the program and started to fool around in it but i never took it seriously.

Meanwhile, i've been producing for 9 years with lots of frustrations, long nights, spending 1000+ hours on youtube to get my music to a higher level and to compete with pro mixes.

Financially, i had so many downfalls that i took me a long time to get the gear i have now. Worked a year as a Roofer so i was able to buy budget equipment for music production.

Last 2 months from June 2017 till now i've been focusing on releasing and to get my sound heard but without money left, i wonder what i need to do.

Music production, promotion, mixing, ..... is a full time job if you wanna do it seriously and i really want to provide a better life for my loved ones. A normal 9-5 job will never be able to pay for the house i want to buy for my mom and grandmom, will never be able to pay for the things i want to provide for people in need. So i have to become good at producing and that's why i'am asking for your help.

It does not matter how, even if it's a contact, a mentor, just a simple way to give me a chance to show how good i am with the limitations.

Hope this message will find the right persons, i just want to inspire others to chase their dreams and show that even in rough times, we can keep our head up!
