Hard Fork in the Forest [A Fable]

Let me take you back in the forest where all animals are crypto enthusiasts, traders miners, some even developers.

I already told you a story about a skunk who polluted Steemit and how Steemit developers handled the situation. But I didn't mention that all other animals were also involved in crypto world. Those were 21st century wild animals and they followed everything that was trending and modern in the world.

Different animals had different approach.

For example, wolves were mostly day traders. Foxes were following all news about ICOs and they were present at any token giveaway that they could find on the network. Bears were holders of big sums of different tokens. Those savings were useful to them while hibernating. Squirrels were also holders but they held smaller amounts than bears. Sparrows were trolls and they spread fake news all the time, while swallows were migrating between many exchange sites and they lost a lot of money for paying fees. The eagle was a mad hacker who tried to break in other animals wallets. A rabbit was a Steemit spammer who jumped from post to post with the same comment. And moles were obviously miners, although they didn't have best machines for mining.

But the most experienced animal in the forest was an owl.

The owl found about Bitcoin first in the forest and shared the news with others. The owl was always the first to find what will happen and was giving directions to other animals where to invest and how much. The old bird was wise and calm and other animals knew that they have listen to it.

So one day the owl summoned all animals to great meetup.

When all gathered under the owl's tree, the owl said:

"My dear sisters and brothers animals, I will speak today about Bitcoin hard fork. It will happen in few days so I suggest you to invest in Bitcoin in order to receive the same amount of Bitcoin Gold."

All animals were happy about the news but the owl decided to convince them that the hard fork is more of that! Owl was very clever and saw this as an opportunity to make animals to clean the mess in the forest. So, the bird also said:

"But you will not receive any Bitcoin Gold if our forest is dirty and stinky. We have to clean it and make some order. You have to pick up all trash in footpaths and we have to build a public toilet. No more shitting in the forest, only in public toilet. We have to be consistent in this or we will not get any Bitcoin Gold."

Animals took this seriously!

They cleaned whole forest and footpaths and dug up a big hole and organized a public toilet in that hole.
But there was a problem. There were to many animals but only one public toilet so they had to wait in a long line to eliminate fecal waste from their anuses. But they were willing to sacrifice all for Bitcoin Gold.

I told you that the bear was a holder, but today, he came the last to the public toilet and many animals were waiting in front of him!

It seemed that the badger had diarrhea and he that he will never finish... But the bear had to "release his daemons" urgently. Well, he was a holder, but he couldn't hold the crap in himself anymore, so he hid in a bush and broke the law - shitted outside the public toilet.

And that piece of crap was tremendous.

Suddenly, the owl appeared above him and the bear didn't know what to do, so he covered the crap with his paws. But the owl was curious and asked him:

"Bear, what do you have under your paws?"
The bear was skilled liar so he said:
"I caught a butterfly!"
Then the owl asked:
"Can I see it?".
"No! It will fly away!", said the bear.
Then, the owl said:
"If you don't show me, I will ban you from the forest trollbox!".

So bear didn't have any choice and moved his paws from the large piece of crap. Then, he screamed:

"Oh, no! It flew away! And look how big piece of crap the butterfly has left!"
