RE: Is Money the Main Ingredient in Steemit's Retention Ratio?
Ah, I can't tell you how good it feel to spend time catching up on your page. I really enjoyed your black and white offerings and think it would be fun to chat about the significance of your choices (even though I know a part of the challenge was NOT to do that haha!)
I too find it almost mind boggling that people are so reluctant to give steemit a shot, or how many show up and give up so quickly! In my case I even have a very official looking visa bitpay card that friends and family have watched me use just as one would use any debit or credit card, as I told them the money on the card was transferred from steem to dollars. And still they remain skeptics.
We are a special breed my beautiful friend, we who stepped foot inside and were instantly at home, who found one another and knew that we were meeting extended family from all over the world. When it was worth pennies but we were not deterred. And we already have benefited from it in so many ways, just in the connections we've made let alone the fortunes to be made.
Richly blessed is how I feel. When your name comes to mind it brings with it a big smile. As did your newest short story venture- you continue to grow and expand as a brilliant author, so many different atmospheres you've created.
I just posted the final chapter of the second book of Allies of Old :) It will be some time before the third one is ready to come through, in the meanwhile I have a stand alone novel that I will be posting. Not sure if you saw the post, the one book I've technically published and have a physical copy in my hands :)
I want you to know that you were so instrumental in my beginnings with Reborn, your encouragement helping give me the confidence to make one of the best decisions of my life! We need to chat soon and catch up!
