Beware of unfamiliar grandfathers

This story was told to me today by a friend from Moscow.

A few days ago she went to a Moscow cafe. She drank coffee, and suddenly her attention was attracted by the usual at first sight pair - grandfather and granddaughter. It seems that a decent-looking elderly man was asking something, and the girl in school uniform answered. But she held herself somehow strenuously, and my acquaintance also tensed somewhat. Why does the girl seem shy of her grandfather?

• What kind of cake do you like ?- Grandfather asked affectionately. - Eclair? Of course, I'll take you! What kind of class do you study?

The girl jumped up, but she did not dare approach the couple. But what if they are relatives? She went to the exit in confusion, and suddenly saw that a traffic police car was parked in front of the supermarket. She rushed to the cops:

• I'm not crazy, but I'm scared. There sit an old man and a girl. I'm uncomfortable with them, but they talk strangely, as if they were strangers. Could you check whether this is relatives?

As she later said, for the first time she felt that cops were also good people. Guys in uniform came into the cafe. A few minutes later, they brought out the "grandfather" with his hands clasped behind his back. My friend stayed at the entrance to the cafe, and ten minutes later she saw the girl's soaring mother come running up to her and slapped her in the face. It was not pedagogical, but it was possible to understand that the second-grader left school and went to a cafe with a stranger who was completely unfamiliar to her, who promised a cake ...
