SUNGlASSES

The first lenses did not protect from the sun but from snow blindness. The inhabitants of the north made them of wood, bone and other materials with narrow holes for the eyes, this helped to protect their sight when the light reflected too much of the snow.  The first washer was patented in 1851, and although it remotely looked like a modern washing machine, it had nothing in common. There were also devices that allowed 10-15 shirts to be washed at once, but for this you had to use 10 mules! The good news is that we now "feed" our washing machine only with electricity, not hay.
