A Mother With One Eye

A story that must be foretold which will enlighten the engulfed thoughts of today's young generation who sometimes forgot whom they have came from.

Many may have read and heard about the story but I would like to share it to those who doesn't.

A Mother With One Eye

Her mother only had one eye, and she hated that. She hated the unexpected attention that brought her in the school. She hated when her mother will go to her school and when she noticed the other children who will look at her mother and walk away with distaste look at their eyes. But even though her mother is hardworking, in fact it had two jobs to provide for the family. But she felt so ashamed and she don't want to be seen with her.

Everytime her mother visited her at the school how she wish it will suddenly disappeared and vanished. For she felt very annoyed and angry for the woman who's the source, why she's been the laughing stock on school. There's a time when she was so anger she told her mother to die, she don't mind and forgot what would her mother would felt.

As she grew up she do everything to keep her away from her mother. She study hard and got a job abroad just to be free from her mother. She married and have children in short she had a busy life with her career to provide good life to her children and she already forgotten about her mother.

When suddenly her mother visited her one day. Her one-eyed faced scared the children and they begin to cry. She was so upset and she told her mother not to come anymore in her house and her new life. She shouted and scream, but her mother just silently apologising her and go without saying another words.

She came back to her old place for a reunion she drive fast and excited to see her home town and she stop by at the old shack. There she knows that her mother already passed away and leave her a letter.

"My dear child:

I must begin by apologising from visiting your home unannounced and frightening your beautiful children. And I am also deeply sorry that I was such an embarrassment and source of humiliation to you when you when you were growing up.

I have learned that you may be coming back to town for your reunion. I may no longer be there when you will come, and I think it is time to tell you an incident that happened when you were a young child."
