Hello fellow steemians and welcome to another one of my fantastic adventure. Have you guys ever heard or familiar with the story of Oak Island? Well if you guys never heard about it, it’s actually an island in Lunenburg County on the south shore of Nova Scotia, Canada. There have been tons of stories circling around the island and the most famous one will be the treasure that lies beneath the island itself.

Where there is treasure, there sure will be the treasure hunter. There have been number of attempts to find the treasure even since the 19th century. Up until now, there have been no proofs that the treasures have been found. There is one more mystery about the island itself and that is the curse that they have put on the island. Some people said that the treasure will only reveal itself after there have been seven deaths on the island while looking for the treasure but according to the folks in Lunenburg County, there was no proof about the curse. Maybe they told rumours like that to scare the shit out of the grownups as the only way to tell a scary tale to grownups is by telling them dark fairy tales.

I have been following this story since 2 years ago through the reality series called THE CURSE OF OAK ISLAND which been aired on one of my favourite Television Channel called History Channel. The reality series follows the efforts of these two brothers, Marty and Rick Lagina from Michigan in search of the speculated treasure or historical artefacts.

Yes, we heard that there is a treasure hidden or buried in the island, but who was the one that responsible for creating this chaos to the entire treasure seeker out there? Who will come across in your mind when we are talking about burying treasure? Pirates of course! There have been two great big pirates name said to bury their treasure in the island. The first on was Captain Kidd and the other one is the infamous Edward Teach or also known as the Blackbeard, who said that no one will find his treasure other than Satan and himself. Besides that, there were also rumours that the treasure hidden in the island belonged to the Knights Templar who managed to escape from the French empire way back in those early years.

Up until now, there has been no evidence that the great treasure has been found except for few artefacts. I hope that the Lagina Brother could one day manage to uncover the secret and also the treasure in the island.
