18 esima edizione della festa Italo-Americana ad Aviano ITA-ENG

Ad Aviano si svolgerà la 18° edizione della “Festa dell’Amicizia italo-americana”, istituita per rafforzare il legame tra la comunità italiana e quella statunitense presente ad Aviano a seguito degli attentati terroristici dell’11 Settembre 2001 alle Twin Towers e al Pentagono.

L’edizione si terrà ad Aviano e vedrà la presenza delle istituzioni italiane ed americane.;Oltre alle attività e le ricorrenze che si svolgeranno in Piazza Duomo, anche il calcio è grande protagonista di giornata. Infatti, allo stadio “Cecchella” di Aviano si svolgerà il tradizionale torneo, come accaduto nelle scorse edizioni ospitate dal Comune di Pordenone. Alla manifestazione parteciperanno quattro squadre: una rappresentanza americana della Base, la squadra dei Vigili del Fuoco, la squadra dell’Aeronautica Militare di Aviano “Paliano e Gori” ed infine una rappresentanza delle due squadre locali del Comune di Aviano, ossia Calcio Aviano e Calcio Giais. Le squadre si affronteranno in un quadrangolare amichevole.

Il calcio d’inizio avverrà alle ore 13.00 e verrà effettuato dalle istituzioni del Comune di Aviano e della Base USAF di Aviano, che porgeranno il proprio saluto agli atleti e al pubblico del “Cecchella”. oltre alla partita di calcio si terrà una cena finale nel centro del piccolo paese del friuli per concludere nei migliori dei modi

to Aviano will host the 18th edition of the "Italian-American Friendship Festival", established to strengthen the bond between the Italian and US communities present in Aviano following the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001 at the Twin Towers and the Pentagon .
The edition will be held in Aviano and will see the presence of Italian and American institutions. In addition to the activities and anniversaries that will take place in Piazza Duomo, football is also a major protagonist of the day. In fact, the traditional tournament will take place at the "Cecchella" stadium in Aviano, as happened in the past editions hosted by the Municipality of Pordenone. Four teams will participate in the event: an American representative of the Base, the Fire Brigade team, the Aviano Air Force squad "Paliano and Gori" and finally a representation of the two local teams of the Municipality of Aviano, namely Calcio Aviano and Calcio Giais. The teams will face each other in a friendly quadrangle.
The kick-off will take place at 13.00 and will be carried out by the institutions of the Municipality of Aviano and the USAF Base in Aviano, which will offer their greetings to the athletes and the public of the "Cecchella". in addition to the football match, a final dinner will be held in the center of the small town of Friuli to conclude in the best way
