I agree, partly because I have always been the kind of person who never asks for anything in return, possibly to a fault. I have always thought it was odd when people are so blatant about expecting something in return. I am also referring this topic to life in generally. Thanks for the post I appreciated it :)

People are sensitive to feeling "used." Personally, I don't see any problem with asking for things when you are in need. But I think what triggers resentment is giving off a sense of entitlement... ;)
