LEGO Star Wars Story, Part 55: "The Shadow's Darkness"
In the middle of their duel of fates the transport crashed right next to them. As Luke Skywalker was facing his arch nemesis Vader a grey transport crashed through the dunes right next to them. After it's crash the door opened and stormtoopers poured out surrounding them. With all their blasters aimed at Luke he had no choice but to surrender, he raises his hands and a trooper grabs his lightsaber. Vader's astonishment is only increased as a familiar figure emerges from the ship...
The air fills with static electricity and cools down to chilling lever as the Emperor exits the craft. His robes flying in the light breeze. He walks over to Vader who can barely move from the confusion the events unfolding in front of his eyes caused him. The Emperor who barely ever stands up from his throne is right here in front of him, on Hoth, arrived in a troop transport. What is going on? Palpatine simply replies that there is much to say and asks Vader to enter the ship.
Luke is on board the ship against his will tied to a wall with cuffs watched by almost every stormtrooper in the small craft. Palpatine is standing along with the stormtroopers making Vader suspect that this isn't really him, that it is some kind of a trick devised by Snoke. As the dropping door rises and shuts a stormtrooper peeks out of the turret spot to check if there are rebels around after which the engines ignite and the ship launches into the atmosphere.
In the darkness of the night the Rogue Shadow makes it's way close to Hoth. On the other side of the planet from the battle between the rebel and Imperial forces in the shadows cast from the planet it silently floats through the void. This ship is thousands of years old and has seen more battle than any living being. It was dug up from the ashes of Korriban and repurposed as Snoke's flagship.
The troop transport docks aboard the Rogue Shadow and the troops depart to their stations aboard the vessel. Vader and Palpatine are left alone in the company of Captain Phasma who shows them the way. Vader is as confused as he was when this ordeal started. What is he doing aboard Snoke's flagship? Why is Palpatine doing this? Is this even Palpatine? These questions burn in the back of his mind like embers...
Luke was carried by the stormtroopers over to the torture room. Since his imminent demise he shouts insults at the troopers. It isn't really their fault but still... One of them grabs the electric baton as the other one tightens his restraints on the torture chair. The baton trooper walks over and raises his hand after which he strikes down at poor Luke. The force of the blunt object combined with the excruciating pain of the electricity makes for a truly disgusting form of torture.
As Luke's screams echo through the ship's empty corridors, Vader finds himself in an equally bad situation. As he enters the massive chamber he cannot help but notice that it is same in almost every detail to the one aboard Snoke's Star Destroyer, he really recreated it in full detail. He stops walking to look at Snoke's tall figure on the throne, then he notices a smaller black throne next to Snoke's raised stone one. The Emperor starts walking toward it... This must be some sick nightmare, Vader thinks. But far from it, this unfortunately is realer than he could ever imagine...

wow very nice :))
Excellent publication @cubed3, I really liked your photos, it's great how you can make a little new Star Wars story, with the help of your legos, your camera and a great creativity, congratulations.
Thank you very much :)
This is my first read, and its the 55th issue. I am a huuuge fan of vader, he is like the coolest bad guy. Though at this point i cant wrap my head around this particular plot
Palpatine and Snoke switching places, hmm
Perhaps I made the story a bit too convoluted for the new reader. Basically Snoke has been in charge of the Empire ever since he killed Palpatine and replaced him with a droid that emulates him completely. Thank you for reading tho :)
thank you for sharing
