A Dream of Hope

From the depths of my other-conscious history

I fall lower than the black night

High defences, someone lied

Someone high up
They told a terrible truth

Mixed with a black lie

What is covered up, always surfaces in some fashion or form

The more actively it is repressed

The more actively it innovates

It seeps through to create the same outcome that was hoped to be avoided by telling the lie in the first place

Every hope is a hope lost

We hope for things that aren’t in our paradigm

And yet we move towards them at such a rate of knots

We bind ourselves to these false hopes

We blind ourselves from the reality that actually exists

What lie could be told that is so great

That required so much power to be told

That once spoken has taken millions upon millions of years to be decovered

What outcome was hoped to be avoided

What of the power, power of such a magnitude and so ancient does not come cheap

Nor by chance

Some fundamental part of our essence

Once manifest in a physical of sorts

Lied against the laws

Pushed against an inevitable and unending flow

I’m going to need to find some Chopin to finish this, one moment please…

You’ve been chosen

By yourself

By the rarest bird known

It exists only in the ether

It evaporates on the glance of a critical eye

It lives forever in every corner of every soul

A piece of us we can not do without

Its presence is known by a feeling of reverence, awe, beauty

And it can only be characterized by innocence in the purest

It has chosen you

You have chosen it

We have chosen you

To uncover this truth

This tangle in ancient dreaming

Love is light

Light prevails

Remember the beauty you felt

Hold it close

And it will guide your path
