Hi Steemians. Today I am going to share an interesting facts about Asus laptop. First, a brief history of Asus..T.H. Tung, Ted Hsu, Wayne Hseih and M.T. Liao founded the company. All four are from Acer as hardware engineers before. They built the company in Taipei, 1989. Asus have become top three consumer notebook vendor and gaming brand here in North America. They also released the Asus Zenfone and the demand is rapidly increasing.

With the windows update 1709, two of Asus model recently have been discovered a possible software glitch that may affect the laptops performance. The models affected are Asus X541UA-BB51-CB and X541UA-BB51T-CB. As per the hardware, no problems have been detected with these models. The mother board is not defective. Just a software glitch.

There is an easy fix during setup on these two models if you purchase it at any Best Buy stores. They have a FREE express setup. A good way to get customers from coming back in the store, but a bad thing for Asus.

The laptop has an intel core i5-7200U, 1 TB hard drive and 8gb ram. It has sd card reader, 3 usb slots and VGA port. Just ok for the price of $600. One thing that is not appealing on this laptop is the chocolate colour surrounding the keyboard. I like my laptop simple as full black or full silver.

If you are not a gamer, check this out, but don't be surprised of the bad reviews because of the glitch.
