Thank you for posting @creatr. Yes...the Apostle John understood the love of Christ.....the unconditional love He has for all mankind and the personal and unconditional love He has for believers in Christ Jesus.
In the book of John...in chapter three...verse sixteen...he writes..
For God loved the world so much that He gave His uniquely born Son that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
...translated from the original Greek of The New Testament.
Appreciate the opportunity to think on these things.
Principle...When we do not understand the grace of God....then we are overwhelmed by our inadequate strengths and weaknesses...instead of being overwhelmed by the power of God.

Indeed we need to focus on the "Wonderful grace of Jesus" and the power of his love, rather than on our own weakness.
