একদা এক হাতি শুয়েছিলো কিন্ত তার মনে ছিলো বিশাল অহংকার। সে ক্ষুদ্র প্রানীকে প্রানী বলেই ভাবতো না। গায়ের জুরে সব কিছু করতো। হঠাৎ একদিন একটা পিপড়ে তার কানের মধ্যে ঢুকে পড়লো এবং কামড়াতে শুরু করলো

ফলে হাতি টা বুঝতে পারলো কোনো প্রানীই ছোট্র নয়। সে তার স্ব-স্থান থেকে অনেক বড়।
