এক ছিলো এক গরিব কৃষক তার ছিলো একটি রাজহাস! যেটি প্রতিদিন একটা করে সোনার ডিম পারতো। কৃষক প্রতিদিন একটা করে সোনার ডিম বিক্রি করে এক পর্যায়ে অনেক বড় লোক হলো।source
কিন্ত কৃষকের মাথায় একটা বুদ্ধি এলো আর কত দিন একটা করে ডিম বাজারে বিক্রি করবো। এক সাথে সব ডিম বিক্রি করলে আরো ভালো হবে। সে সিগ্ধান্ত নিল হাসটি কেটে এক সাথে সব ডিম বের করবে। তাই একটা ছুরি নিল এবং হাসটির বুকটি ফেরে নিলো। ফলে হাসটি মরে গেলো কিন্ত হাসটি থেকে একটাও ডিম পেলো না। ফলে সে কান্না কাটি করতেছে কি করলাম।
