Sometimes the what’s fair isn't legal, and it is a constant situation in Venezuela for the population that has a different sexual orientation than society imposes, they are victims of absent laws and legal injustices. We are a society free of thought and work idealized towards respect; most of the time society demonizes homosexuality for being immoral, disrespectful but and do heterosexuals who practice promiscuity, they are not immoral and disrespectful? Definitely society is double moral and this is where we must worry about being better people , for respecting free will and living in peace and harmony.

I bring this reflection by the fact of having lived with a homosexual couple and realizing that when they died they simply had a life of ghosts due to the fact that the laws of our country Venezuela are waiting to support the LGTB community.

Homosexuality has always been present, love has always hovered and relationships have been built in people of the same sex, have formed a home and love has prevailed and have been relationships for years, I know relationships that have been more than 20 years as couples and they love and respect, But have we ever wondered what happens to the assets of those couples when one of them dies ?, Their years of commitment, company, years of work and also living marginalized by their families because of their homosexual condition. It is sad to witness injustices, to see how the most emblematic of a life together is trampled on by the fact that there are no laws that protect them because they are "immoral". It's okay, even marriage for homosexuals is not approved in our limits but the concubinage, that condition in them is valid and we must respect and support it. Talking about homosexuality in Venezuela for politics still seems taboo, but it is a moral need to hondar in those seas, educating ourselves as citizens should also include education respect for those who have a sexual orientation different from the family forms that still point our books of family education. Many have been the controversial issues with respect to homosexuality that our society has gone through and we still do not know for the fact that our educators have not worried about how to approach them to educate and guide our society without breaking the scandal and the controversy and even more in the debauchery to which they associate the life of homosexual people.

Angel and David lived together for 27 years of their lives as a homosexual couple, they practically shared a life, a marriage. Years of work and built a business emporium fruit of perseverance and dedication, years of efforts to live in darkness their relationship by pointing out the society, but that did not weigh as much as the pointing of his family; when Angel died the decisions of the court is to point to his family as the universal heir of his property discarding everywhere the commitment and relationship he had with his partner David for the simple fact that the law does not support the gay concubinage or the free union of homosexuals in our country. A surprise death does not give time to fix the papers, the death surprised and swallowed a storm, months of conflict and ruin for the built patrimony for years, due to the fact "the Venezuelan law does not protect the homosexual concubinage" therefore you cannot pretend to continue with the patrimony of those who lived together for more than 20 years and you must step aside and how can you start from scratch to redo your life. This is unfair but it is legal.
We need to ask ourselves how many more couples have gone through these situations, how fateful their outcomes have been; months of torment and not being able to be at peace leading the mourning that involves seeing the person who is your life go also. Respect the free union of people of the same sex, respect your life and your marriages, even if they are not legal.

This story had its outcome in 2016 and in Venezuela there were hardly any voices for support for the LGTBI community thanks to Tamara Adrián Who is a well-known activist for women's rights, for the rights of sexual minorities and the LGBTI categories.

To this day David lost his battle and in his despair and frustration the depression led him to find his eternal love again Angel, today there are only the vestiges of what were in life in the minds of those who lived with them and respected his principles and we learned the art of his work. It remains to ask ourselves in a country in crisis where we live today, how will we overcome the crisis of values that torments us? when it is still difficult for us to tolerate our fellows for feeling different but loving in a universal way as it is the purest feeling that can be felt towards another as is Love.

We always have the concept of war with weapons and battles between countries, and we forget that we also make war on our neighbor by discriminating against people who are different from us, we make war when we are racist, when we do not respect another person's religion, when we mark the social class and when we point to a homosexual.
