Princess and dragon

Once upon a...

As the time passed, the princess grew to a sensible age. She never told a thing to anyone. In fact she was too scared and ashamed to tell what the Dragon had done to her! She was afraid of the dragon; the gigantic, dangerous and merciless dragon!
The princess wondered how her parents could trust a dragon to guard the castle, where she was living, and why the guard assaulted the one he was assigned to protect!
The princess still had in her memory the foggy glimpses of all that happened to her. Remembering anything tormented her. She wanted to erase those moments so badly from her life. She struggled to forget all that happened in her childhood, but failed! She remembered how she felt nauseated and hated herself whenever the dragon looked at her with his big yellow eyes, touched her with his big scaly claws and burnt her skin with his breaths...!
Now the princess had turned 13, and fully aware of what magic power she'd had. She knew how to cast the spell. She'd practiced and successfully used that magic on many others. They were humans like her and it was easy to conquer them, to win their hearts with her magic but the dragon! The dragon was the monster and the monsters can't be defeated easily.
She'd observed the Dragon's agitated gestures and uneasy conduct whenever she used her magic on anyone in his presence. So the princess decided to face her fear, to look in the eyes of the dragon and to use her magic. The princess waited for the right moment to deal with the dragon. Then one day when she found him peeking through her room's window, she knew what was going to happen next! she immediately decided to take the action. The princess was ready this time!

...peacefully ever after.
