Fictioneers Ep. 7

Welcome to another episode of the Fictioneers Webcast!

This week, we had an awesome show talking about the various workshops outside of the now Steemit-renowned Fiction Workshop. Me and @jasonbu talked about our non-fiction and technical writing workshops. I'm very proud of the work we're doing there, as there is a tremendous number of posts that aren't fiction, and we'd love to help edit and proofread them. @jasonbu is much more tech saavy than I am, so the more heavily crypto and programming stuff is right up his alley! @geke talked about her poetry workshop, and discussed some of the worst offenders for cliches in poetry. If you've ever been curious about writing poetry, or if you just want to peruse some well-written work, drop by and give her a holler! @pegasusphysics gave us a tour of what she's doing in her playwright workshop, and we compared notes with her about tropes and cliches that she's seen in screenplay and playwriting. I haven't seen a lot of screenplays presented here on Steemit, but I know of at least one Netflix show that's being produced thanks to the platform. If you have an interest in screenplay writing, come on down!

The Writer's Block is a Discord server designed to help improve the quality of writing on Steemit. Volunteers and mods are available to help with editing, proofreading, and direction across a wide variety of writing styles and genres, all at no cost to the user. ... and we think you for your support.

Really. I appreciate the review and the camaraderie. It is also good to have other writers of a similar mind to bounce ideas off of.

I've always got a huge kick out of helping people through what expertise I have to give. I love helping people become better at the things they do, especially when it's something I'm also passionate about :D

Beep! Beep! This humvee will be patrolling by and assisting new veterans, retirees, and military members here on steemit. @shadow3scalpel will help by upvoting posts from a list of members maintained by @chairborne and responding to any questions replied to this comment.

LOL @anarcho-andrei, I think I had best find a stationary location for the next time I'm on the show ... sorry, all. Now I know why I came back into a panel of laughter. Oh man, that was hilarious.

It's like Muxxybot took over for a minute or something... :D

I was just getting into character for my "a day in the life of Muxxybot" entry. :-)

That was hilarious

It could not have been planned any better.
