The Woman Who Felt a Breath
Emily was a woman living alone on the streets on a cold and freezing winter day. She hadn't bathed in a long time, was struggling to find food, and had become disillusioned with life. The last thing she had eaten was a moldy piece of bread that had gotten wet in her stomach. Every day, she wandered the streets looking for something to eat, but most of the time she was unsuccessful.
Today was no different. She couldn't find anything to eat, but she was looking for a place to spend the night. When she saw a building under construction, she decided to sleep there. Since she didn't have a warm blanket, she lay down on the ground and closed her eyes.
Suddenly, she felt a breath on her neck. Her heart began to beat rapidly, and her eyes widened. With fear, she slowly turned her head, but she couldn't see anyone. The warmth of the breath sent shivers down her spine. This situation plunged her into deep fear.
