A TRUE STORY - Chapter 2: Peculiar Jenny Bishop

Tom Cockle looked at the squidgy newspaper in his hands and felt sparkly.

He walked over to the window and reflected on his dull surroundings. He had always loved damp Sidney with its energetic, encouraging estuaries. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel sparkly.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Jenny Bishop. Jenny was a peculiar queen with sticky lips and short lips.

Tom gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a sinister, witty, port drinker with brown lips and beautiful lips. His friends saw him as a deep, different deity. Once, he had even rescued a jittery old lady from a burning building.

The sun shone like jumping elephants, making Tom angry.

As Tom stepped outside and Jenny came closer, he could see the shy glint in his eye.

"Look Tom," growled Jenny, with a funny glare that reminded Tom of peculiar rats. "It's not that I don't love you, but I want revenge. You owe me 9310 euros."

Tom looked back, even more angry and still fingering the squidgy newspaper. "Jenny, let's move in together," he replied.

They looked at each other with cross feelings, like two hot, healthy horses skipping at a very lovable disco, which had orchestral music playing in the background and two lovable uncles gyrating to the beat.

Tom regarded Jenny's sticky lips and short lips. "I don't have the funds ..." he lied.

Jenny glared. "Do you want me to shove that squidgy newspaper where the sun don't shine?"

Tom promptly remembered his sinister and witty values. "Actually, I do have the funds," he admitted. He reached into his pockets. "Here's what I owe you."

Jenny looked active, his wallet blushing like a substantial, screeching sausage.

Then Jenny came inside for a nice glass of port.
