Cooking with firewood, old traditions that are still awake

Nothing is more pleasurable than the view and smell of a wood fire. However it is not good for the environment. In Europe we have special wood burners which are very effective, because they use a special construction...of course than nearly all romantic is lost, as you can watch the fire only through a glass pane and smell nothing.
It's so good it sounds, we're here let alone a special place, the kitchen is still very unfit, our country is being played by its ruling economy.
