Chapter One: The Abandoned Child
In that tea house, the old men who gathered there every day would always listen to a story told by a storyteller, about Qin Yishou, the person who lived in seclusion in the mountains. They would habitually come to the tea house to listen to a story about Qin Yishou every day, as if it were a ritual that they couldn't do without. They believed that Qin Yishou was a master who had mastered the art of fortune-telling, and they were all eager to hear about his magic abilities and adventures.
Qin Yishou was a solitary man who lived in the mountains. He was a practitioner of the art of fortune-telling, and was renowned for his accurate predictions. People would come from far and wide to seek his advice, hoping to gain a glimpse into their futures. However, Qin Yishou was a man of few words, and he rarely interacted with others. He spent most of his time in seclusion, studying and practicing the art of fortune-telling.
Among the old men who gathered in the tea house, there was one who was particularly interested in Qin Yishou's story. He was a young man named QinYanhui, and he had a strange and mysterious background. Born in a poor family in the mountains, Qin Yishou's name was given to him by Qin Yishou himself. Since he was a child, Qin Yanhui had shown an extraordinary interest in the art of fortune-telling, and he spent most of his time studying in Qin Yishou's hidden study room.
The hidden study room was a secret place where Qin Yishou kept all of his precious books and manuscripts on the art of fortune-telling. It was a place that only Qin Yanhui had access to, and he spent most of his time there, studying and exploring the secrets of fate. Over time, Qin Yanhui showed an astonishing talent for the art of fortune-telling. He seemed to have an innate ability to understand and interpret the profound and mysterious texts in Qin Yishou's hidden study room.
However, Qin Yishou was a man of few words, and he rarely showed any emotion or reaction towards Qin Yanhui's achievements. One day, when Qin Yishou suddenly returned home, he found Qin Yanhui studying in his hidden study room. Without saying a word, Qin Yishou grabbed a sickle and cut off Qin Yanhui's little finger. The intense pain made Qin Yanhui roll on the ground in agony, and his blood soaked his clothes.
Without even looking at Qin Yanhui, Qin Yishou threw a crumpled five-yuan note at him and said only one word, "Get out!"
That year, Qin Yanhui was twenty-one years old.
