This is actually pretty scary
Whilst investigating the death of a local detective, a smart lawyer called Wenna Chen uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, ribbed teapot circulating throughout Ireland. As soon as anyone uses the teapot, he or she has exactly 40 days left to live.
The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look shrunken. A marked person feels like a ripped frog to touch.
Wenna gets hold of the teapot, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into her mind: a giant goldfish balancing on a solid detective, an old newspaper headline about a hit and run accident, a hooded kitten ranting about eyelashes and a drinking well located in an industrial place.
When Wenna notices her moles have frog-like properties, she realises that the curse of the ribbed teapot is true and calls in her grandson, a painter called Sandie Fish, to help.
Sandie examines the teapot and willingly submits himself to the curse. He finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. He finds the giant goldfish balancing on a solid detective particularly chilling. He joins the queue for a supernatural death.
Wenna and Sandie pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded kitten. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
