For the love of Sisiologe
Bryan was a young and fearless soldier in the Army, he earned respect from his colleagues and superiors for being a gallant and intelligent officer.
During a peace keeping exercise, he rescued a lady from being killed by the rebel and ensured her safety in the refugee camp.
One thing Bryan could not deny, is the love at first sight for the lady. Before then, Bryan hardly entertained any discussion about of love.
Sisiologe, I can't deny the fact that I love you and I want you to be my wife.
Bryan said during one of his regular visits to the refugee camp.
In no distant time, they got married and were living together. Their love life soon became the envy of many in the barack.
Bryan was on distant duty for counter terrorism when he received signal that his wife was very sick. He was given two weeks to go and see to her affairs.
On getting back, he discovered that the sickness was serious and could not leave his wife after the given two weeks. All efforts to secure permission to extend his stay proved abortive as he was much needed on the field.
Against all odds, Bryan extented his stay by two weeks to take care of his wife
On reporting back to duty, he was dismissed from the army for defying the military order.
Bryan and Sisiologe returned to low-income civilian life and happily lived together.

This is more of an essay than a story. It sounds more like an article in a magazine than a story with a plot and ending. It’s interesting as a narrative but my idea of a story is that you have an ending appropriate to the story. In this case fhe was fired for taking care of his new wife. It just sounds like there is no happy ending.
