Anecdotes of 3D-printing - I
So, I was trying to print two 3mm rods using the 3D printer we have at home, and I decided to orientate the two rods in this particular way:

At first, the print started fine. But when the rods were about 1cm high, they started to wobble, and so the print became less accurate. The rods were somewhat printed, but unfortunately they cannot be used for anything except for a lesson.

Well, having that lesson learnt, I changed the orientation to this:

After the print, the rods are somewhat circular, and they are straight, which is a major improvement from the previous print (each layer is 0.1mm for finer resolution in order to get the circular shape out).

So this is something to take note especially if you are printing something narrow.
