The Demon Under the Bed: A Tale of Terror | Scary Horror Stories
Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Emily who lived in a small village surrounded by dark, dense forests. She always felt safe in her room until one night, she heard a strange noise coming from under her bed. The noise was like a low growl, and it grew louder and more menacing with each passing moment. Despite her fear, she couldn't bring herself to look under the bed.
The next night, the same noise came back, and this time Emily mustered up the courage to look under the bed. To her horror, she saw two glowing red eyes staring back at her, and she could feel a cold breath on her ankles. She screamed and ran out of the room, never daring to look under the bed again.
The villagers were scared and didn't know what to do. An old wise woman told them that a demon had taken residence under the girl's bed and that they needed to perform a ritual to banish it. The villagers gathered together and performed the ritual, but it was too late. The demon had already taken control of the girl's mind and body.
Emily's personality changed dramatically. She would often scream in the middle of the night, and strange noises could be heard coming from her room. Her once kind and gentle demeanor turned into one of anger and hatred. The villagers were too scared to go near her, and they eventually locked her in her room.
Years went by, and the villagers forgot about Emily and the demon under her bed. But on quiet nights, strange noises could still be heard coming from the room, and red eyes could be seen staring out from the darkness. Some say that if you listen closely, you can still hear the demon growling and Emily screaming. The room remains locked to this day, and no one dares to enter it.
The villagers often whisper that the demon is still there, waiting for its next victim. They say that if you listen closely, you can hear it calling out your name, inviting you to come closer, to take a look under the bed. But beware, for those who do, never return.
