When Umar arrived in sham, he had prepared a meal, the like of which he had seen, and he said, "That's for us, and for the poor Muslims who died, and not satisfied simple barley bread?"

Khalid bin Walid said, "Heaven!"

Umar's eyes filled with tears, and he said, "If we clear, but it Heaven, they succeeded!"
