There were many lives wasted in this campaign until now we still keep fighting to stop drugs activities in our country. That's why we volunteer to make a change and to help the lives who are the victims of this hellish thing.

At this moment we are helping our own countrymen who are the victim of drugs. They are on their Moral Recovery Program right now clearing their names and made a decision to change for the better.

The war on drugs is a war on us, and has harmed so many! Prohibition of drugs is the problem. Addicts of hard drugs are usually trauma victims. Treating their trauma helps them beat the addiction. Making them into criminals doesn't.

Yeah definitely well said and most of them are victims of poverty.

So true. A lot of addicts are great people who got unlucky. Abuse, trauma, accidents, or just being born into a poor family/community.
Here in Vancouver many people die every week from opioid addiction and overdose. Fentanyl, heroin, oxycodone, etc. It is prescribed for pain, but many people become addicted. Some use it to party or escape. Now it's one of the leading causes of death in Canada.

Oh no man.. sorry to hear that the medicine is now become the source of death.. Here in Philippines all who are in the list they have given a chance to change but if they are harded and continue to use shabu they will be killed automatically.

Wow, yes I've heard about how strict the drug laws are there. And about your president who is very violent, but we are told he has support of the population. I think many people there must be brainwashed (conditioned to believe) that drugs are dangerous to individuals and to society. And that drug use is a sin, or a personal weakness.
Canada legalized cannabis recently, but only for themselves to sell. People can't grow the plants and make cannabis themselves. Even patients are being put in prison for 14 years because of cannabis plants, and they call it "legal"?
So about a year ago I made this:

more like portugal.png

Portugal decriminalized all drugs in 2001. Addictions, health problems, overdose, and crime went down!

I wish Canada would be more like Portugal and less like Philippines (no personal offense meant).

There is a law which already on the senate right now waiting for approval, the law is for the legalization of marijuana. I guess through proper education of the drugs where and when to be use. That's why others use it on their own appetite.

Thanks for that info, I didn't know thee was a law waiting for approval. I will research into the details because it's interesting.
You're right, education is very important for users (and non-users). Too many problems start from us not understanding this issue, and being afraid of it, and reacting with fear.

If we look at it in the eyes of negativism that's what happens.

There is no solution in the atmosphere of negativity.
