    Do you see the constant manipulation on all levels, pushing markets higher? It gives the average investor the sense that everything is fine. Tricks the computer algorithms also.

    I am always weary of big buy back announcements as I think they manipulate EPS in the short term as they could impact the float of outstanding shares. Also, using cash to buy back share instead of reinvesting into projects shows that there are no interesting projects they can spin internally for a better return.
