Where is the stock market heading?

The news has recently claimed we have a "kangaroo" market. Which basically means the market is trading sideways. So sideways that my stock group claimed it's best to not open any new options today. Which is rare for a Monday given expiration time is at it's prime today. Aside from that, today is a big week for news in stocks.

Today the Fed announced that they will be buying board portfolios of U.S corporation bonds. Which in return had future pushing green! Walmart partners with Shopify to expand the web market place business. These are the most important news today so far.

We still have last week option calls opened with MSFT not moving at all and the other 3 dropping a few dollars.
