Germany has a Blockchain Strategy and many banks are pushing the technology...
...not just JP Morgan!
- On Monday, Germany's Bafin approved the first security token (STO) ever. A so-called Schuldverschreibung by Bitbond.
- On Tuesday, LBBW announced significant steps with adopting blockchain technology for securities.
- On Wednesday, the German government started the first round to receive feedback for the "Blockchain Strategy Germany" (www.blockchain-strategie.de).
- On Thursday, Commerzbank announced a full digital asset being build natively on a blockchain in combination also with Euro-on-ledger. Real transaction. No simulation. No prototype anymore.
Most of these events are unexpected early, which indicates how the government and larger corporations start to push this technology.

Nice post @src3. It's nice seeing crypto is being pushed for in so many countries. I think it will help out many especially to help stabilize a weak economy.

This is true, I myself have heard from so many other blockchain projects in Frankfurts banking sector. 2018 was the year for proof of concepts and I guess 2019 will be the year these ideas will see the light of day!
