Getting Flagged By a Cheetah on Steemit for Posting My Original Content?
Can anyone explain this @cheetah here on Steemit? Apparently this robot flagged me for posting my own original material for the reason that the material has also appeared on the Daily Coin. Well news flash Steemit - several other sites occasionally link to my content and re-post my material with their viewers. Is that a problem here? How about real people make the decisions and not a robot?
It is situations like this that immediately cause me to question the viability of a platform that utilizes robots to make decisions that result in a execution of an act that is on the wrong side of a decision and outcome. This happens more and I am done with Steemit as well as it's mythical fantasy crypto.

Hi @juniusmaltby. It is sad to say, but there have been unscrupulus users who have posted material that is not their own (and without giving proper credit) in order to garner upvotes and extract money from our system.
The @cheetah bot is a defense mechanism against this, which can alert human users to determine if plagiarism is happening.
Don't worry though, because we know you are legit and we won't flag you for posting your own material.

Cheetah didn't flag you, it upvoted the post and made a comment. The comment is just to let human readers know that the same content exists elsewhere so they can make more informed decisions. Cheetah isn't smart enough to judge whether or not it's plagiarism, so it doesn't try. All it does is provide that information for humans.
