They call themselves 'Terraplanistas' and spend their time demonstrating that the idea of a planet in the shape of a spheroid is a conspiracy devised by an elite dedicated to occultism and Freemasonry, according to their own words.

And the terraplanistas responded ... The 'visible head' of this theory is the Flat Earth Society, created in 1956 in the United Kingdom by Samuel Shenton and which until today remains active with other members. And they move quite a bit, because only in their Facebook group do they have the 'bobadita' of 130 thousand followers.
But are not the only ones. Just take a walk in Google to realize that it is not about 15 'loquitos' isolated shouting towards nothing. These are groups organized and in constant production, such as Tierra Plana (25,000 followers), and Existential Plane (12,127) and also from youtubers like Oliver Ibáñez, who has 126,836 subscribers on his official channel and with whom EL TIEMPO communicated to know a little more about their positions.
At the age of 29, a lawyer with a degree and resident in Barcelona, he defines himself as a researcher of conspiracy theories. And since 2016 he began to be interested in the topic of 'terraplanismo'. And now, he defends it whenever he can and before anyone. Despite the beating he usually receives every time he publishes a new video, Ibáñez does not shy away. For him, insults are simply the natural reaction to the "emotional shock" and the "cognitive dissonance" that comes from hearing "the truth".

And they were the ones who initiated a "Satanic" conspiracy whose only objective is to "hide or go against God, what is said in the Bible and make us believe that we are a speck of dust, that we are insignificant."
Therefore, he says, created a whole network whose main accomplice is Nasa that discloses "models and lying photos of outer space." In fact, according to Ibáñez, there are no other planets, there is nothing else in the universe. some celestial bodies nearby.
And what happens further, when the earth ends? Nobody knows. Only that 'government in the shade'. "That is why they have prohibited entering into exploration in Antarctica," he says, referring to the treaty signed in 1959 to regulate the use and exploitation of that region of the world.
