RE: A: What is crowdsourcing and why it is important?

When I saw your mention as below

Crowdfunding - Ability to do fundraising if the right crowd recognize your concept or idea.

I wondered whether I may ask a few questions - and get a reply (no other has bothered to reply to my queries, maybe because of their impatience at ignorant people asking questions)

I have a project which I wish to create. It has a minimum requirement of capital for starting, but if successful, it can grow.
It is a project which becomes self-financing once it starts (having spent a life-time as a businessman, I expect certain rules to be adhered to, one of which is that the business must provide something needed and that it will create a profit - in this case, the profit will mostly be used to finance new branches, so that more and more children are helped.

I am not doing it to make myself wealthy, I just have a dream and want to make it happen, in the hopes it works and saves or improves the lives of many children

I have examined a number of crowdfunding sites and
a) Usually do not understand how to make it happen and their rules mostly serve to confuse me

b) Most of them are run by globalists and if the plan is for helping children, which goes against their plans (as per Georgia stones), since they want to depopulate the world, or if the plan supports any patriotic agenda, the site owners block the funding

c) If going to a bank for funding, I know the rules and what documentation is required. But, in this scenario, I am at a total loss.

I need to find someone who can help me prepare the presentation (and any further assistance they can offer) for a fair return from the project, once it is making money (it can happen fast)

Can you provide device or make any suggestions? (I only refrained form going into details as I would prefer to do so once it is a part of securing the interest of a specific person.)

In the hope that you will reply in a positive manner,
thanks in advance,
Alex

Hey, thanks for contacting me...I am not able to answer right now but I will do it tommorow...sorry for delay :-)

I'll be pleased to hear from you - have a nice evening

Hi @arthur.grafo, sorry for the delay. You really sorted it out, so I will try to help you based on this info you provided.

  1. Crowdfunding - The principle of almost every platform is the same - you provide perks to your donors based on the amount they donate. First, check fundition.io. It is a crowdfunding platform based on Steem blockchain and you can contact them on their Discord - I am sure they will be happy to assist you in this process.

  2. Try other, non-blockchain platforms for crowdfunding. Indiegogo has a community segment, check it here
https://www.indiegogo.com/explore/community-projects?project_type=all&project_timing=all&sort=trending. If I remember well - this platform has two types of funding - fixed and flexible. You decide what is the amount you are trying to raise - in case of fixed funding, if you fail to achieve it in a specific time period, money is returned to donors. In the case of flexible - you can keep what you got, as long as you deliver promised perks to donors. What many people. What people usually forgot to mention is the fact that these campaigns depend heavily on advertising and other activities (spreading the word on other forums, boards, engaging your audience, research...) There was a talk about Indiegogo and Kickstarter algorithms which starts to list projects on trending pages only if they manage to raise 30% of their funds in the first days of the campaign. Now I don't know if they are true, but in any case, this will not happen spontaneously, you have to plan the campaign.

  3. Unfortunately, I am overwhelmed with my stuff and it wont be better untill the spring 2019. Every second of free time is invested in the @crowdmind project - but it can be interested to you. You can always ask other Steemians to join you in your mission - that is exactly what we want to empower here, so you can count on our support too...

I've already asked a small number - but everyone has too many problems of their own.

Anyway, I appreciate your reply and advice. Thank you
