The fact that we observe stars with heavy elements in stars atmospheres (C, N, O) means that they are not first generation stars
This looks like a nice Question... With spectroscopy included *(I hope you astro people use it), it could be very nice and advanced
Yeah spectroscopy is one big thing in astroworld too. :) hmm and even finer answer awaits :D
