Am guessing this would only be good for a short term fast result but it would not be a good idea if you want to keep the drink cold for a long time (for instance to be use a little later) as the liquid icy water would gain heat faster than ice blocks. Is that so?
The idea here is to quickly get your groove on. Not a long term fix by any chance. Thanks for reading.
