The energy/power density of sources is often linked to the ROI, so that may influence what energy source you choose. If a cheaper option is available, there will likely be no adoption of the new technology unless there is significant (10xish) performance improvement. Thanks for posting!
I agree with you on this, the economic of it reigns supreme.
