Twilight Falls

I look out at the world as the sun goes down
And that twilight glow blankets the town
The perfect mix of purples, oranges, and blues
When the colors mix you always get perfect hues
Seeing such a magical sight puts your mind at ease
And makes you want to say “stay longer, please!”
But in mere moments it starts to fade away
It gives way as night comes and replaces day.
