Steepshot Review
How you see, today Steepshot also known as SteemStagram is being announced. I've already tried it and now I'm going to share my opinion about it!!
Lets begin with things that I think aren't that good or need improvement
So first of all about posts:
Lets say that this app gets really popular and more people start posting pictures which also are uploaded to steemit. This means that there will be lots of posts only with pictures and that kinda would piss of non Steepshot users.
There is a crap ton of non sense pictures, they look like ads. But I understand that, app is new. Maybe if you would show pictures on Steepshot, only if they were uploaded using Steepshot that'd be better.
Now, positive features:
Design. I really like design of the app, especially logo. It looks pretty cool. I think it's promising.
Idea of it. In example - Everyone sometimes feel lazy and not into reading. So they can just watch pictures. But it's not the main reason that I like the idea of this app. Main reason would be that it's easier and more interesting to use for most people. Why? Well it's because we often see a lot of programming and coding posts on trending section. And that's just confusing and not interesting for us.

P.S Note to readers: This app is only in alpha version, so if you find anything 'buggy', don't get mad, understand and appreciate what they already did! Updates are coming

I just downloaded the app. I was really confused how it ties into Steemit. Is it it's own thing or own site or is it a part of Steemit?
I noticed when I post to Steepshot it also shows up on my Steemit blog which I wasn't really expecting. I see what you mean about how if the app gets popular Steemit gets flooded with photos as opposed to video and blog type content.
I sort of expected it to be a related but seperate site or thing.
