My home gym
I picked up most of this home gym from second hand websites. In fact the only thing I bought new was the cage as this was cheaper new than I could find on my second hand sites. Now I am on the hunt for extra weight plates as I am past the 100kg I bought.

I Highly recommend routing through your local ads. Plenty of people get great ideas and spend an absolute fortune on high end kit. You can typically snag them for a great price. All of the kit in my Gym cost less than €1000. That is a good treadmill, spin bike, Power cage with pulleys, 7 foot Olympic weights bar, Olympic eazy curl bar a few power bands and 100Kg of Olympic plates.
A got a friend with a connection in wholesale gym equipement.. need to go and check that out too... he might have some things he wants to get rid of. Will check local ads but I doubt to find a lot of useful things... gym and Cambodian.... doesn't work very well hehe
Yeah, would you have the room for equipment there? If I didn't have room I would probably just get a pull up bar somewhere on the property. Calisthenics are great too.😊
We got a huge terrace with a roof in front of the house that is not being used! So we have a lot of space to fill it up ;)

Getting there Niina, stronger everyday. I have to say working out and building muscle as a Vegan is way easier than when I was an omni.

a smart set up mate. I guess your best bet is charity shops and thrift stores for extra weights? or ask your friends/ work colleges who were talking about fitness at new years or last summer and are still fat and will probably give you their equipment to get it out the house.
Oh totally, plates new run about 3 - 4 euro per Kilo so I'll be sure to hit up my local ads. None of my weights are interested in fitness. I am the outlier. Thanks for stopping by.
this is an awesome setup...i wish to own my own home soon so i can set up a space like this and stop paying for gym memberships
Ah for real man, we used to spend €1200 per year on membership! This whole setup cast less than 1 years membership. The huge plus too is no waiting on plates or machines and no sweaty benches after the brah's. I can get up, warm up, smash a set then have breakfast with my family. It's the best thing I have bought in the new house!

Hell yeah man, family is so important to me. Kids grow up so fast, honestly, blink and you can miss years, no J.O.B is more important. My OH was a carer and she sat with many people as they died or were close to death, not 1 said they wished they worked more. Most said they wished they had worked less and enjoyed their families and traveled more! If I can leave this world with no regrets then I will die a happy man. Not that that's for a long time, after all we are vegan and don't we live forever or some shit? 🤣🤣

sweet! one of my dream is to have my own home gym with martial arts gear and I can just practice to my hearts content anytime :)
It really makes all the difference. I can jump in whenever I want, I can just do loads of body weight bar work or cardio or weights sets.
