Today I have got some information about Diamonds. These are some cool facts which I think you will love to know.
The largest gem quality rough diamond that was ever found is “The Cullian”. It was mined in South Africa in 1905. It weighs staggering 1.3 pounds around 3106 carats.
I have also got an amazing fact about diamonds. You will be astonished to know that “only one” in a million of mined diamond ends up in jewelry.
So what happen to the rest of rough diamonds? The rest of the roughs are either of very low quality and are inappropriate to use or very small in size that makes them less valuable to use in jewellery.
