Summer rain and its rainbow

Yesterday out of a sudden a proper summer rain came over us and cooled us down for about twenty minutes. I could even see it coming out of a deck right after it passed the hill up front. The rainbow almost instantly "showed its face" like a gate opened to rains freshness. I also have to say that it was cool enough to not make anyone seek shelter. Everybody was on the streets enjoying it or simply not even care about it.
How's the end of August in your part of the world?
