The Only TRAIN TRIP in Sabah, Borneo (Amazing Trip, Though!) Part 1

On 30th March 2019, Saturday - my son and I went on the train. The only train trip in Sabah, Borneo. The train from Tanjung Aru (Sabah's capital city, Kota Kinabalu) would bring us 96.5KM to Beaufort, then 33KM to Tenom.

We were excited when we lined up to buy tickets. There were not many people actually.

Some people were waiting relaxing because the tickets were unlimited and even if they over sold ticket, people could stand.

A nice view from upstairs. That train head was with air-conditioning. There were two heads in every end of train engine.

The back carriages had no air-conditioning, these two guests in front of me were doing filming.

We called them the "Irwins". They were hogging the front seats to film the train ride. It was funny because I could see they bought local snacks to eat during the journey.

Our train stopped at stations along the way. There were many people coming on board and some people going off the train.

As we left the city and nearer to the rural, we witnessed old buildings. They were still wooden with no maintenance at all but still standing tall.

We passed by paddy fields and jungles.

There was magnificent wood manufacturing factory...

With brick manufacturing factory...

These were rare to see!

And also a quarry. Really cool.

We passed by paddy fields.

We passed by rivers.

When the train arrived at a cross junction, the driver would sound the horn.

Something amazing coming up!

Our train passed on a beach! How cool was that?

We were thrilled to see this.

Just before arriving Beaufort, untouched Beach.

We saw a hydroplant.

We saw people drying anchovies under the hot sun.

We crossed many bridges like this.

Out of the blue, we saw redness! Beautiful temple in a rural area.

We were so lucky to see these antiques and treasures of train.
