As a Sabahan, we all familiar and like the white Chilies, 'Lada putih'. Why? Because it is so delicious and it is easy to cook and it was mainly one of the traditional delicacy here. Unlike any other chilies, this one is so different from the rest. When it ripe it will turn into white colour, that's why local called it White Chilies, 'Lada Putih' So today i'm going to show you how to cook a simple home made White Chilies recipe with Balacan.
So here are the ingredients:
250 gram White Chilies
300 gram minced pork
3 cloves of chopped garlic
150 gram of Belacan (Shrimp paste)
P/S: you can use chicken too
As usual. Heat up the wok pour some cooking oil, wait for the oil to heat up then fry the minced pork with Belacan. Stir it well untill the Belacan's aroma came out intensely. Right after that put in all the chopped garlic.
Lastly, put in all the White chilies. Fry it and add 3 spoonful of water so it won't be too dry. Cook it till it is ready!
This is how it looks like when it is ready. Oh my good, i can eat up to 3 bowl of white rice with this 'Lada Putih' yummy.. Tottally an anti-slim meal for me. 😆 Hope you guys enjoy it. "Makin Lompud la sa ni"
