Su nombre es Milena Neneka Pelayo Díaz, y fue mi profesora en la Universidad de Oriente, Núcleo de Sucre-Cumaná. Ya les cuento a qué se debe mi admiración y respeto hacia ella.

La profesora Neneka nació en Cumaná. Es hija de un español, venido a estas tierras del caribe, y de una venezolana llamada Milena. Es la mayor de tres hermanos. Creció en un hogar muy culto. A los 17 años inició sus estudios de Licenciatura en Educación, Mención Castellano y Literatura, en la Universidad de Oriente, Núcleo de Sucre. Fue una estudiante muy sobresaliente. Debido a sus méritos académicos, la Universidad la contrató como docente.
Professor Neneka was born in Cumaná. She is the daughter of a Spaniard, who came to these lands of the Caribbean, and of a Venezuelan named Milena. It is the oldest of three brothers. No sé por qué razón, mi profesora no tuvo hijos. Nunca hemos tocado ese tema. Pero, lo cierto es que yo tampoco quise ser madre; aunque ambas tenemos sobrinos, a los que amamos con todas las fuerzas del universo.
