WAR AGAINST CAMPUS POVERTY. THE NEED FOR STEEMIT IN EVERY CAMPUS

For poor Students being on campus with little or no money is harder than it seems. Not every Students can afford what they want in School, they borrow text books, they squat with friends, they hardly eat good food, they walk long distance just to be in class.

Same poverty make many of this said Students drop out of school, or Study half way (if it's a polytechnic) and work for while, before you know it distraction sets in.

Let me tell a story
There is this girl in my department in my school days, she is the best, she gets the highest grade, she is very bright and intelligent but her parents are poor and on most occasions she hardly afford to buy some text books. She also has accomodation challenge which made her to move from place to place living with friends just to go through school. Somehow I went into discussion with her and she told me how she calls almost all her family members to get little little cash, she puts it together and pays her school fees. Life was indeed hard for her that she did not return after her OND, next thing I heard is that she is married.

Maybe that was not the right time to get married.
Maybe she sincerely want to round off her studies
Maybe if she has a skill she would have scaled through
Maybe if there was Steemit, she would have done well and so many needs would have been met

LET'S PROMOTE STEEMIT ON EVERY CAMPUS IN NIGERIA

Students need to live a poverty free life, they need a comfortable place to live in, Let's be practical, they need money for their text books, feeding, transportation and other expenses. Taking Steemit to every campus in Nigeria is one thing I will make happen. I got to know about Steemit when i am through with school but I know what it feels like to be in school without having someone who sends money weekly or monthly.
