I completely relate to what you're saying, especially with the struggles of being an introvert. It makes it hard to self-promote, because it feels like such a sleazy thing to be doing, but not doing it seems to get you pretty well ignored.
I suppose all any of us can do is keep on keeping on, and try to connect with as many people as possible so our stuff actually get seen.
